Crypto Currencies are digital assets. They fund an ecosystem using digital technology referred to as cryptology. In short, cryptology is the use of advanced computer algorithms that use a wide network to secure digital data. Using cryptology, these digital assets are used for currency, investment, and other trade.

Transactions are conducted using what is called a blockchain. A blockchain is a ledger system. A blockchain uses a sequence of digital information that is generated when a transaction occurs to transfer digital assets. The blockchain is stored on a public database, and uses a large network of computers to secure, and complete the transaction. This process is known in part, and Crypto Mining.
